Congress leader and popular Punjabi singer-rapper Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead Sunday in a firing incident in Punjab’s Mansa district, a day after his security cover was withdrawn by the Bhagwant Mann-led state government.
A video went viral on social media showing a bullet-powered SUV traveling with Musa Wala and his companions when unidentified assailants opened fire.

The disturbing video shows a broken windshield filled with bullet holes, broken glass and a singer rapper, with blood from his wounds, in a coma. The windows are completely broken and the seats are covered in blood. Many people can be seen around him, checking his pulse and trying to get him out of the car so he can be taken to hospital.
The video showed two people, including the driver, injured.
According to the latest reports, more than 30 rounds were fired at his vehicle. The 29-year-old singer-rapper was rushed to Mansa Civil Hospital in critical condition but died during treatment. Two of his colleagues are in critical condition and are expected to be taken to a major hospital for treatment.
The ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has been sharply criticized by opposition parties for blaming Bhagwant Mann for the incident. Two armed security officers were withdrawn from the security details assigned to Musa Wala on Saturday. Sadhu Mozwala was among 424 political leaders and officials whose security was removed by the Bhagwant Mann government.
