Flexispot OC14 Ergonomic Chair Pro Review

Flexispot OC14 is an ergonomic Office chair Offered at a mid-range price point, with a high “bang for your buck” overall. Its breathable materials, tension adjustment, and overall comfortable seating experience make it worth considering for your setup, regardless of your budget.

Unboxing

The Flexispot OC14 Ergonomic Chair comes complete in a box. Granted, it was a big box, which we could probably climb into after removing the chair, but it was still light enough to carry.

Upon opening the box, we were greeted with lots of pieces and a set of instructions that were very clear and easy to follow, with a step-by-step process helping us complete the build in minutes. We were admittedly shocked, as at first glance there seemed to be more lumps than usual – but we quickly realized that this was because Flexispot chose to send some levers and the neck rest completely. Detached, rather than on the main body of the chair for transport.

All in all, including opening the box and even throwing all the packing materials back into the box, we were able to complete the process in just under 10 minutes.

First impression

After assembly is complete, you are left with a beautiful chair. We’re fans of matte black in our test office, so we wished the legs/base were black, however, the silver finish wasn’t bad at all.

During the first hour of sitting and adjusting the chair, the back felt very loose, and in all honesty, we weren’t fans. It took quite a bit of out-of-the-box tension adjustment to dial it in where just sitting is no longer a core exercise. Once we tightened the tension for the recline, adjusted the seat to our liking and made our “final” adjustments to the neck rest and armrests, we were genuinely pleased with the result.

Design and build quality

The overall design is made with a simple frame and chassis but still looks professional and sophisticated. While simple designs can sometimes look cheap, in this case, the chair looks elegant and more expensive than it actually is. The quality of this chair feels like it will withstand some heavy use, and last a while, especially if used in a home office setting.

In use

After several eight-hour workday sessions in that chair, as well as moving between him and us Standing desksthe Flexisport OC14 did exactly what we wanted.

It was comfortable without putting us to sleep, and it gave us good support, although sadly there are no adjustable lumbar settings, so when we took a break from standing and opted to sit, it didn’t. Provides comfortable relief. When we chose to sit all day, it didn’t feel uncomfortable and didn’t wear unevenly in any areas, thanks in part to adjusting the recline tension and using the recline lock on purpose. Thanks to

The ability to lock this chair into a recline position is a nice touch and one that we found most useful when locking it in the recline position to play games or watch some YouTube reviews.

The wheels roll well, and rotate a full 360 degrees, allowing for maximum maneuverability, even on some carpets, and the frame feels solid, as it did after about a month of daily use. Also, no one rattles, no screams, and no wear. All

The backrest also fits people who are slightly taller. Our tallest member outside of this office is 6’1”, and he was able to sit in this chair, adjust the seat height, and raise the neck slightly. All in all, the process takes less than a minute, and then they’re off to work. Our shortest member outside of this office is like 5’10” or 5’11” and they can do the same, with little or no adjustment between all heights, but still fine tuning when desired. are capable of

Final decision

For a modest price tag, this chair rises above its class. The features of this chair are enough to suit any user, while also keeping the price low.

For long days or short sessions, we found ourselves choosing this chair more and more. While there are definitely more expensive and better chairs on the market, we’re overall very happy with the Flexispot OC14 Ergonomic Chair Pro.
